She calls herself an adult child. “It’s very Peter Pan. A girl can be a lost boy, too.” She boasts about her own helplessness. “I don’t know how to do anything. I don’t know how to drive; I don’t know how to pay taxes; I don’t know how to keep a house; I don’t own any dishes." — (via masochisticbabydoll)

REVIEW ➮➫➬➭ SEAPUNKSTARRING ➭➫➬➮ •ultrademon•Probably we will not be here if Ultrademon didn’t existed. The whole seapunk wave has one certainty that Albert Redwine was the year zero. The big effort has finally arrived and albert decided to call his debut album “SEAPUNK” probably to clarify, one time for all, his idea of #seapunk as a music genre . I decided to listen to this album switching off all the hype that this massive imaginary generated in fashion, pop and internet culture this year, taking albert as an EDM producers and nothing more.I had great expectations from the album because i personally think of Ultrademon as one of the great composers of our generation for his originality and his ability to surprise. The opening track “Chatroom with enya” is a manifesto, a retro deep house track with samples of interviews and statements about #seapunk.“Dreamo” is a dreamy downtempo song that represent the entrance to the world of redwine and introduces you to “Dolphin”, where dolphin chirping surrounds an experimental plur beat with the typical elements of the producer: wobble bass, drip synths and hithat madness. “From birth” is also a very interesting track with an hip hop beat is combined to a string bass lines. “The bayou” and “Post Solstice” are the highlights of the album! : the first one is unclassifiable crazy experimental track with a downtempo beat and a deep wet bass that goes from1/8 to 1/32, big rave synth explosions and water xylophones; the second one is an emotional instrumental ballad for your post-physical life. The album at this point enters in his uptempo dance phase with “Yr own personal demon”, “Shoved” and “Bahrain” highly influenced by the 90’s hi-nrg and euro-dance. There’s also space in “Spun” for the techno influences to demonstrate the incredible culture and versatility of Ultrademon. “1996” closes the record in a perfect way, back to the baltimore/jersey club roots of coral records.THIS ALBUM IS AN ULTIMATE PORTRAYAL OF THE INTERNET CULUTRE.9.0 ☺/10.0 ☺The album is out today ON:http://boomkat.com/cds/674126-ultrademon-seapunkhttp://www.piccadillyrecords.com/products/Ultrademon-Seapunk-FireForEffect-89131.html
